Financial Planning: Funding, Factoring & Insolvency

Adam explained how BCRS can help fund small businesses. They loan fund is specifically designed to meet the demands of local businesses and BCRS cover the Black Country and also Staffordshire & Stoke.

With funding potentially being particularly difficult to come by at present BCRS will approach business requirements on a case by case basis, rather than the computerised approached that often results in a "computer says no" result. They will meet you personally to develop your loan application.

Lee and Jamie talked about how Business Customers can work with their Bank to raise finance for both Cap Ex or Cashflow purposes. How to structure their approach to the Bank and what information they will be asked to provide to the Bank.  Also more specifically what Lloyds TSB is doing for its customers.
Lee is a Qualified Chartered Accountant, Over 10 years experience of working in the Invoice Finance industry. Currently Regional Manager for Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance.

Jamie is a Commercial Relationship Manager for Lloyds TSB, over 15 years experience working with SME's in the Midlands.

Paul outlined how Midlands Business Rescue can help rescue/save a business before it's too late.

As a chartered accountant and insolvency practitioner during his 25 year career he thought he'd seen everything but this time is different. We are 5 years into a recession but still there is no end in sight. Paul shared his thoughts on fundraising and problem solving by unconventional means, what businesses should think about over the next few years to thrive or just survive and why his profession of insolvency just isn't working.
