Monday 16 May - Day 01

Slow start today, mostly redecs with a couple of tenants and Sandwell College students.  Most of the tools and plant have arrived ready for a flyer in the morning, and our grounds maintenance contact has cut the grass and hedges at the front of Chapter House

Tuesday 17 May - Day 02

Progress was made on the landscaping, most of the fences were dismantled [knocked down] whilst decorators from Sandwell College completed internal redecs Along side this our grounds expert Kevin Deakin sorted the hedges and grassed areas around the property, it now looks lived in !!

There are many others worthy of note who will get mentioned in the final honors list. Again the suppliers have been more than generous with plant and materials and we have had great support from Speedy Hire, Burdon Building Supplies, Crown Paints and the skip hire company ? headed up by Frank. Ironically the hold ups we've had in supply were caused by the only supplier that we have had to pay for materials!!

Wednesday 18 May - Day 03

Rain and waiting for a delivery has almost stopped play, club officers, Chapter House staff and residents got bored and proceeded, between showers, to cut down a couple of 10 M high trees [ to the Green people, don't panic, they were Sycamore self sets that had become intrusive]
